ECSU PLACES TWO ON 2008 CIAA VOLLEYBALL ALL-ROOKIE TEAM

Amick, Parks Help ECSU to Best Record in School History

HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State University freshmen Chelsea Amick and Allie Parks have been named to the 2008 CIAA Volleyball All-Rookie Team.

This season Chelsea Amick started for the Lady Vikings and currently ranks in the CIAA in both hitting percentage and kills. The Lady Vikings have captured their second straight CIAA Eastern Division crown, have posted the best record in school history and are undefeated against CIAA opponents this season.

The 2008 All-CIAA, All-Rookie teams along with the Rookie and Player of the Year will be announced at the Volleyball Championship Banquet held at the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, VA on Thursday, November 6th at 7:00pm.
