CALIFORNIA, PA- The top seeded Lady Vulcans of California University of Pennsylvania swept the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings in three sets (25-15, 25-13, 25-7) Thursday night at Hamer Hall.

The Lady Vikings, who earlier this month captured the school's first CIAA Volleyball Championship and were appearing in the NCAA Playoffs for the first time, end their record setting season at 31-10 overall. The Lady Vulcans now move on to face Lock Haven in the regional semis tomorrow at 7:30pm.

Jennifer Hendy and Chelsea Amick both tied with a team high 4 kills each in the loss for ECSU. As a team the Lady Vikings managed only 12 kills versus 16 errors versus 43 and 11 for California (Pa). Ludmila Amaral led the way for the Lady Vulcans with 15 kills.
