Lady Vikings Remain Perfect in CIAA with Three Set Sweep of Livingstone College

FAYETTEVLLLE, NC- Elizabeth City State University completed a perfect weekend of volleyball play with a three set sweep of Livingstone College (25-10, 25-21, 25-10) Sunday afternoon at Felton J. Capel arena on the campus of Fayetteville State University.

Middle hitters Samarri Griffin and Jennifer Hendy led the way with a game high 7 kills each while Chelsea Amick contributed 6 kills. The Lady Vikings have now won six straight matches and are perfect against CIAA opponent this season. ECSU was the only team to post a perfect record at this weekend's volleyball roundup.

ECSU (10-6, 7-0) will return to action in a non-conference match against Peace College on Tuesday, September 16 in Raleigh, NC. Game time is scheduled for 6:00pm. For more information on ECSU Athletics, visit www.ecsuvikings.com.
