HOLLEY NAMED TO 2005 REGIONAL ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

Sophomore Short Stop Garners Another Post Season Honor

SHIPPENSBURG, PA- Shaneetha Holley, a sophomore short stop on the Elizabeth City State University Softball team has been named to the 2005 Mid-Atlantic Regional All-Tournament Team.

In the Lady Vikings 6-1 loss to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Holley went 1-3 with 2 put outs and 5 assists. It is the third post season honor for the Tyner, NC native. For helping the Lady Vikings to their second CIAA Softball Championship in the past four years, she was named to the 2005 CIAA All-Tournament Team. She is also a member of the 2005 All-CIAA Softball Second Team. Attached is a complete list of the 2005 Mid-Atlantic Regional All-Tournament Team.
