RICHMOND, VA- Elizabeth City State University senior pitcher Alicia Graham struck out 10 batters in an 11-0 shut-out of Virginia Union University in game one of a CIAA doubleheader Monday afternoon.

With the victory, which represented their CIAA opener, the Lady Vikings (1-6) pick up their first win of the 2007 season. Alicia Graham, who pitched a complete game, struck out 10 of the 18 batters she faced on the afternoon. The Lady Vikings opened up the game in the 3rd inning by scoring 8 runs. Offensively Shaneetha Holley hit two home runs to pace ECSU at the plate. She finished the day going 3-for-4 with 4 RBI.
