TRAHAN NAMED TO NCAA DIVISION II STATE FARM COACHES ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

ATLANTA, GA- For the second consecutive year Celeste Trahan has been recognized as one of the top 10 players in Division II Women's Basketball as she was voted to the 2008 NCAA Division II State Farm Coaches All-America Team as selected by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). This past season the Stockton, CA native wrapped up a phenomenal career as the first women in Division II History to record 2,000 points and 1,500 rebounds in a career. The two-time CIAA Player of the Year (2007, 2008) was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2008 and finished the year ranked second in NCAA Division II in scoring at 23.7 point per game and for the third time in four years of competing topped the nation in rebounding at 15.9 boards per contest. She also now holds the distinction as the first women in school history to have her jersey retired as the all-time leader in points, rebounds and blocked shots for women's basketball at ECSU.
