Senior All-American Tabbed as CIAA's Top Player for the 16th Time in Her Career

HAMPTON, VA- Senior All-American center Celeste Trahan has been honored as the CIAA's top women's basketball player for the sixth time this season.

Celeste posted three double-doubles last week to earn the 16th Player of the Week honor of her career. Her best game came in a 30 point, 16 rebound performance against Saint Paul's on January 24 in Lawrenceville, VA. She now has 79 career double-doubles and is just three points shy of topping 2,000 points for her career. Her scoring and rebounding average tops the CIAA and in NCAA Division II as of last week she ranked third in scoring and first in rebounding.
