TAKOMA PARK, MD- Celeste Trahan led four double figure scorers as Elizabeth City State University defeated Columbia Union College 77-62 Wednesday evening.

Trahan topped all players with game high s of 25 points and 24 rebounds to go with 4 blocks and 4 steals. Joyce Freeman added 14 points while Sha-Teisa Sharpe and April Whitaker chipped in with 10 points apiece.

As a team the Lady Vikings dominated the glass out-rebounding the Lady Pioneers (2-14) 71 to 39. After trailing at the intermission 37-32, ECSU outscored Columbia Union 45-25 in the second half and held the home team to just 29% shooting from the field in the second stanza. The Lady Vikings also converted 30 of 44 shots from the free throw line.

Jada Richardson paced the Lady Pioneers with a team high 21 points.
