GRANDY, NC- The Elizabeth City State golf team finished fifth overall at the ECSU round-up held Sunday at the Carolina Club in Grandy, NC.

Johnson C. Smith's Christopher Parker led the field with a 74 to propel the Golden Bulls to a first place finish. JCSU was followed by Saint Augustine's (361), Winston-Salem State (403), Saint Paul's (429), Elizabeth City State (460), Virginia Union (474), Virginia State (490) and Shaw University (598).

For the Vikings, freshman Dustin Boothe led the way as he shot 80 on the day. North Carolina Central and Fayetteville State will join the field as the CIAA Easten Division Championship will take place April 11-12, 2005 at the Carolina Club in Grandy, NC.
