ECSU GOLF IN FOURTH PLACE AFTER DAY ONE AT WESTERN DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

LOUISBURG, NC- As day one of the Western Division Golf Tournament wrapped up at the Bulls Creek Golf Course, Elizabeth City State University found themselves in fourth place overall.

As a team the Vikings shot 359 and trail Fayetteville State, NC Central and Winston-Salem State. Dustin Boothe was the only player for ECSU to rank individually with a 78, which was good for 10th overall. In the previous day's warm up round, the Early Bird Tournament, Boothe placed 2nd overall with a team best 74. The defending CIAA Champion Fayetteville State University Broncos are in first place after firing a 301 lead by the individual leader Ian Milne who shot a 68 for the leaders.
