Viking Senior Has Career Day in ECSU's Win Over Virginia State

HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State University senior football player Lorinzo Lovely has been named CIAA Defensive Back of the Week as announced by the CIAA Office Monday morning.

In the Vikings' 35-7 win over Virginia State, he had a career day finishing with a personal best 11 tackles (8 solo, 3 assisted) including one for a loss of a yard, a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry. A native of Hollywood, FL, Lovely is in majoring in Criminal Justice at ECSU. He currently ranks 11th in the CIAA in tackles at 6.7 per contest
