Coach Waverly Tillar and the ECSU football team will hold their "Meet the Vikings" football scrimmage this Friday night at Roebuck Stadium. The Vikings will open up the regular season at home on Saturday, August 30th against Chowan University at 7:00pm.

Vikings Welcome Alumni, Fans to Final Scrimmage of 2008 Preseason

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University football team will hold its annual "Meet the Vikings" football scrimmage at Roebuck Stadium at Friday August 22nd at 6:00pm.

Fans of ECSU Viking football will get their first official look at the 2008 team as they take the field for a controlled scrimmage, the last tune up before the Vikings open up the season at home on Saturday, August 30th at 7:00pm against Chowan University.

It will be the first meeting for the two Universities with Chowan entering its first year of competition as a CIAA member institution. For more information on ECSU Athletics, visit www.ecsuvikings.com.
