The 2009 season will be Monterio Hand's sixth as a member of the Elizabeth City State University football staff. Since 2003, Hand has served as wide receivers coach at for the Vikings. His other coaching stints include the track and field coach at Elizabeth City Middle School, and the wide receivers coach at Pasquotank County High School. A native of Winton, NC, Hand played Wide Receiver for the Vikings from 1998-2001. In his senior season, CIAA Receiver of the Week, All-CIAA honorable mention and the Vikings' offensive MVP. Hand finished that year as the CIAA leader in receptions. A 2002 graduate of ECSU, Coach Hand holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice. |
