HILLIARD NAMED STREET AND SMITH'S PRE-SEASON ALL-AMERICAN

Reigning CIAA Player of the Year Preparing for Senior Campaign

BEAVERTON, Ore- Senior guard Anthony Hilliard has added another All-American honor to his résumé as he was named a Street and Smith's First Team All-American as released Friday afternoon.

Earlier this week, Hilliard the 2008 CIAA Player of the Year, was named to the 2008-09 Pre-Season All-CIAA basketball team. H e was named an All-American by Daktronics after leading the CIAA in both scoring and rebounding last season. The Vikings, who finished 20-7 overall last season (their first 20-win season in nine years) were picked to finish tied at second place with Virginia Union University in the CIAA Eastern Division for the upcoming basketball season.
