ECSU BASEBALL COACH SELECTED TO NCAA DIVISION II BASEBALL COMMITTEE

Whittle Will Hold Post Through September 1, 2008

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- Elizabeth City State University head baseball coach Terrance Whittle has been selected to the NCAA Division II Baseball Committee.

Whittle, who is in his 9th season at the helm of the Viking baseball program and currently serves as the chair of the South Atlantic Region, will immediately begin his appointment to fill the spot vacated by Matt Fincher. As a member of the NCAA committee, he has voting power when it comes to post season selection among other decisions. His term will run through September 1, 2008 at which time he will eligible for re-appointment.
