ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University men's and women's cross country teams are preparing for the 2005 CIAA Championship to be held October 21st in Cary, NC.

ECSU will face a competitive field including the defending champion for both men and women from Saint Augustine's College. The Falcons have captured the last five titles between 1999 and 2003. Equally dominant have been the Lady Falcons who have topped the CIAA five out of the last seven years.

The women will begin their 5K course at 10:00am followed by the men's 8K race at 11:00am.
