LAYTON NAMED CHEERLEADING MOST VALUABLE
April 28, 2005 ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Carla Layton, a junior on the Elizabeth City State University cheerleading squad has been named the 2004-2005 MVP. A native of Richlands, NC, Layton holds a 2.92 GPA as English major. The team captain for the 2004-2005 season, Layton is also the president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She received the recognition at the annual spring athletic awards banquet held Wednesday night. |
